This website sets no cookies. No analytics, statistics or marketing services are used, no usage profile is created and no data is passed to advertising networks. A consent banner is therefore not required.

Fonts are not loaded from external servers either; they are delivered together with the website. Opening a page therefore creates no connection to Google or any other third party.

Only if you use the "Pause motion" / "Resume motion" button in the footer does your browser keep this setting in its local storage, so that animations and videos stay paused on your next visit. The setting contains no personal data and is not sent to us; you can change it with the same button or delete it in your browser. Storing it is necessary for this function you explicitly requested (section 165(3) of the Austrian Telecommunications Act 2021, TKG 2021).

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. Pages are delivered through Vercel’s global network, usually from a data centre near you; the server function that processes the contact form runs in the Frankfurt am Main region (EU).

When you open a page, your browser transmits technically necessary data to Vercel’s servers. In particular, the IP address, date and time, the address requested and the amount of data transferred, the status code and browser and operating system details are logged.

This processing is necessary to provide the website and to keep it stable and secure. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in secure operation. Vercel acts as our processor (Art. 28 GDPR). The logs are not merged with other data and are deleted automatically once they are no longer needed for these purposes.

If you use the form, we process the details you enter: name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, an optional date and time and your message (such as destination, number of passengers or luggage). This data is used to handle your enquiry and to carry out the ride. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the enquiry is directed at a contract, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in answering enquiries.

The message is delivered to our mailbox through the email service "Resend", operated by Plus Five Five, Inc., 2261 Market Street #5039, San Francisco, CA 94114, USA, acting as our processor (Art. 28 GDPR) (privacy policy, data processing agreement). If delivery is temporarily not possible, your message is not stored; the form then shows you our email address and phone number.

To protect against automated bulk requests, your IP address is counted briefly in memory when you submit the form; the counter expires after one hour. No permanent storage and no evaluation of individual people takes place. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

If you contact us by email, phone or WhatsApp, we process your details in order to answer the enquiry and to handle your booking. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR.

If you message us on WhatsApp, the message is transmitted through the service of WhatsApp Ireland Limited; data may also be transferred to Meta Platforms, Inc. in the USA. WhatsApp’s own privacy notice applies to that processing. If you do not want this, please contact us by email or phone.

The links to WhatsApp, to route planning in Google Maps and to online booking on vienna-private-driver.com are plain links. Opening this website creates no connection to these services; only when you click such a link do the privacy notices of the respective provider apply.

Vercel Inc. (hosting) and Plus Five Five, Inc. ("Resend", delivery of form messages) are based in the USA and act as our processors. Transfers of personal data to the USA rely on the European Commission’s adequacy decision for the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (Art. 45 GDPR) where the provider is certified under it, and otherwise on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses (Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR), which form part of the data processing agreements.

Your data is not passed on to any other third party unless we are legally obliged to do so.

Enquiries are kept for as long as they are needed to handle them. If an enquiry leads to a booking, the statutory retention periods apply, in particular seven years under section 132 of the Austrian Federal Fiscal Code (BAO). Server logs are deleted after a short period.

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, as well as the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 15 to 21 GDPR). An informal message to info@vienna-private-driver.com is sufficient.

No automated decision-making, including profiling under Art. 22 GDPR, takes place.
